The Question that Started It All

One Saturday in 2014 my wife asked me a simple question, “Hey, could you do me a favor?” I thought she was going to send me to the store. Then she said this: “Would you please not die before we have a chance to do some of the things we’ve talked about and planned for?” That question planted the seed that turned our dreams into action. We sold our home and possessions and began life on the road in June 2016.

The adventure hasn’t stopped yet.

Who Are We?

Paul (Redwood Rambler) and Tracy Bridges (Mrs. Redwood Rambler). We lived in Fort Smith, Arkansas for about 35 years. In 2016 we made the decision to retire from our “real” jobs and live full-time on the road in our RV home -

a 2015 Redwood 38RL Luxury Fifth Wheel

pulled by a 2016 Ford F-350.

We’ve made mistakes and we’ve made great decisions. We’ve planned well and we’ve encountered the completely unexpected. We’ve learned a lot along the way, and we know there are thousands of people who are thinking about doing the same thing we’ve done. Hopefully, our experience will help your decisions and planning - and maybe, just maybe, we’ll see you on the road when you’re creating your new adventure.
